The Avengers: Age of Ultron

Trailers, Movie-Clips, Thoughts, and Discussions

Release Date: May 1st, 2015 (North America)

Information

The whole team is back again for the second Avengers film in the Marvel cinematic universe. Avengers: Age of Ultron begins where the Phase Two movies left off where S.H.I.E.L.D. was torn down and the Avengers in search of a much needed break from stopping the world threats. Tony Stark starts up a peacekeeping program named Ultron: a self-aware, self-teaching, AI. Tony's plan goes south fast when Ultron calculates that humans are the highest risk and sets out to purge them all from Earth. Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, along with help from others like Nick Fury and Maria Hill, to take him down and save the world. The Avengers also cross paths with Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, as well as the new and much anticipated character, The Vision.

The film has already made is Gobal release at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on April 13th, 2015. With the release of the film coming to France, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland on April 22nd we should start hearing some early reviews and impressions before its North American release on May 1st.

Opinion

Watching trailers, movie-clips and featurettes have always been a dangerous thing as you start with bits and pieces of the movie (which can contain spoilers) before you get to see the whole film. So far with the content currently being distributed by Marvel it is only making my anticipation to see the film bigger and stronger than before. I am excited to see the new characters introduced in this film and how they are done. We have not seen much from The Vision which gets me excited to know how well Joss Whedon is keeping that character under wraps. I know from watching Avengers Assemble last year he is a creation of Ultron that turns on him and ultimately becomes an Avenger, so the possibility of seeing transpire is exciting. I could spend hours writing about all of the thoughts about what could, should, or should not happen in this film, but I am just content with waiting until May 1st when I go to see this film in theatres.
